I was born in South Florida and raised by a pod of dolphins..actually, born and raised in Orlanda, FL, and after a brief stint in Northern Va., I moved to the beautiful city of Charlottesville at 12 years old (when the only thing on Rt. 29 was Barracks Rd. and Fashion Square), completed school (and somehow got elected as Senior Class President at A.H.S.), and have lived here most of my life. I am an avid sports fan and a HUGE DOLPHINS FAN and a diehard Hoo's Fan as well! I also have a bachelor of Arts Degree and continue to paint commissioned original watercolors on occassion. I have a wonderful family and church family. I love the outdoors - especially the beach and fishing! On the tube "24", "Nip Tuck" and "Fox News" are musts and a few reality shows are gulity pleasures. My musical tastes run the gamut from Sinatra and Bennett to Bluegrass, Blues and Hip-Hop, although I grew up on and gravitate towards Classic Rock and some Pop tunes, music that will stand the test of time and turns up on American Idol each season, much like on Generations 102.3 & 94.1. After getting invloved with the crazy radio lifestyle in the mid-90's, I have been on the air in the area ever since and seen and intoduced countless great acts; I have also been fortunate enough to meet and/or interview legends such as Peter Frampton, The Allman Bros., The Fifth Dimension, B.B. King and many others. Except for Vinnie, I love everything about The Newest Station in C'ville, Generations 102.3 and 94.1, and I love hearing from and meeting listeners at events and on location at live broadcasts.
